Confucius Institute Participate in China Trade Week

From June 5^th to 7^th, teachers and students from Confucius Institute at Moi University (CIMU) was in the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi for a three-day performance and promotion.

The Scene of China Trade Week

The four participants of the 2019 Chinese Bridge Competition, Ma run, Wan Luo, Ou Han and Wang Xiaolong, gave nearly nine performances in three days and won the plaudit of the guests of the Trade Week. All the guests were amazed at the Chinese proficiency of Kenyan university students.   

The Performance

Beside the performance, CIMU also had a booth during the Trade week to promote its features, courses and activities, which at the same time help promote the three other Confucius Institutes in Kenya.
 The Promotion

The China Trade Week was held in response to the call of the "Belt and Road" initiative. As an important member of the "Belt and Road" initiative, Kenya's hosting of China Trade Week not only deepened the trade exchange between the two countries, but also enhanced the mutual understanding and cooperation between the people of two countries.
